Many significant and positive changes will highlight this year’s 46th edition of the popular Miami International Auto Show presented by Ally at the Miami Beach Convention Center, September 10-18.
A multimillion-dollar renovation of the Miami Beach Convention Center, home to the auto show, is underway and when completed in early 2018 the new facility will offer 505,000 square feet of exhibit space, a new 60,000 square-foot grand ballroom and three junior ballrooms.
Also in recent years, the auto show has reached out to the industry’s leading auto manufacturers to get their thoughts on how best to make its show even better. The message was clear, that if possible, to move the show’s dates earlier so to guarantee that Miami, one of the industry’s hottest aspirational markets, receives the newest and most talked about autos. So this year, the Auto Show is thrilled to open its doors in September. 

The MIAS will once again partner with the Southern Automotive Media Association to present its popular and crowd favorite “Topless in Miami” exhibit that showcases the top convertibles on the market as judged by area journalists. The auto show will continue to encourage visitors to tweet messages to screens placed at key traffic points throughout the show floor. Organizers will again work with manufacturers to promote the auto show’s schedule of events such as Ride & Dives, celebrity appearances and other entertainment. We look forward to working with exhibitors to assist them with their media-related activities throughout the entire show.
