Miami International Auto Show Opens nOVEMBER 6
Miami, FL – The doors to this year’s 45th edition of the Miami International Auto Show presented by Ally open to the public on Friday, November 6th and will run for 10-days through Sunday, November 15th.
Considered among America’s top five Auto Shows, the Miami show will again offer several hundred new cars, crossovers and SUV’s from the major manufacturers.
“The response from attendees to the new autos and exhibits in recent years has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Jay Rivchin, show co-chairman. “We expect the auto manufacturers to step up their displays with a host of interactive activities that both engage and entertain our customers.”
Among the anticipated highlights of this year’s 45th annual Miami International Auto
Show is the return of Cars Meet Art, a unique attraction inspired by urban graffiti art from Miami’s Historic Wynwood District. Topless in Miami, presented with the support of the Southern Automotive Media Association, will spotlight the industry’s hottest convertible cars and Havana Classics returns with its nostalgic display of classic cars from Havana of the 1940s and 50s.
Adjacent to the main entrance of the Miami Beach Convention Center, Camp Jeep will offer visitors off-road driving experiences demonstrating the legendary 4x4 capabilities of Jeep vehicles.

Attendees will not only have the opportunity to see, touch, and feel the latest 2016 models, but will also have to chance to drive certain makes as well. Ride & Drive opportunities offered during weekend hours along the picturesque streets of South Beach will again provide an amazing backdrop for select manufacturers to promote their newest autos.
The auto show will once again giveaway a new vehicle to one lucky attendee in a drawing sponsored by the South Florida Chevrolet Dealers and the Miami Auto Show. This year the prize is the award-winning Chevy Colorado pickup truck.
The Official Show Car of this year’s auto show is the Lexus RC F, the most powerful Lexus V8 high performance coupe. Its 467 horsepower takes you from zero-to-60 mph in a mere 4.4 seconds.
A number of media events and unveilings were held during the Auto Show’s Press Day on Friday, November 6th. Among the auto manufacturers that made major announcements were Nissan, General Motors, Hyundai, Ram, Ford, Toyota, Scion, Mazda, McLaren and Aston-Martin.
The Auto Show is presented by the South Florida Automobile Dealers Association which comprises more than 190 dealerships in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties making it larger than some state-wide auto dealer groups.
