SFADA Announces 3-Year Miami International Auto Show Sponsorship with Ally Financial

MIAMI, FL - The South Florida Automobile Dealers Association (SFADA), presenters of the annual Miami International Auto Show, has announced that Ally Financial has agreed to be the presenting sponsor of the Miami International Auto Show through 2016. The announcement was made by Auto Show Co-Chairs Jay Rivchin and Michael Hooley.

“We’re pleased with the addition of Ally Financial,” said Hooley.  “The company’s reputation within the auto industry, along with the enthusiasm they are bringing to our growing show, made our board of directors’ decision an easy one.”

The 44th edition of the Miami International Auto Show will run November 7-16 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This year, approximately 40 major auto manufacturers are again expected to fill the nearly half a million square foot floor with several hundred new cars, trucks, crossovers and SUVs.

The Miami International Auto Show, which debuted in 1971, is considered among the nation’s premier auto shows, showcasing the industry’s newest models and latest designs along with top-of-the-line technology in fuel economy and safety features.

As part of its sponsorship for 2014, Ally will help to unveil Cars Meet Art, a new Miami International Auto Show attraction that highlights Miami’s artistic revival while presenting autos from a unique creative perspective.  The vehicles, provided by auto manufacturers and local dealers, will have been painted by nationally recognized graffiti artists in the weeks leading up to the auto show.  The first time exhibit also features the Ally Auto Alley, which invites show attendees to explore their artistic sides by painting on a virtual car that can be shared via social media.

“We are excited to be the presenting sponsor of the Miami Auto Show and to support the auto dealers of South Florida,” said Andrea Riley, chief marketing officer of Dealer Financial Services for Ally.  “There’s no denying that Miamians love their cars and we look forward to helping to enhance the auto show experience for all who attend.”
