Topless In Miami Showcases Hottest Convertibles at Miami International Auto Show

Miami, FL – October 20, 2014 –  The auto industry’s leading manufacturers all agree that “going topless” is the only way to go when displaying their newest convertibles at the Miami International Auto Show.  And, the popular Topless in Miami exhibit will again have on display award-winning drop tops from the annual competition sponsored by the Southern Automotive Media Association (SAMA).

Prize winners on display will include the Audi RS5, which earned top honors as Convertible of the Year; the Bentley Continental GT, winner of the Super Luxury/Exotic category; and the Mazda MX5 Miata, winner of the Small Convertible class.  Other show stoppers in the 10-car Topless exhibit will be the Jaguar F-Type, Nissan 370Z and Volkswagen Beetle.
There’s no better experience than a drive on the causeways leading to beautiful Miami Beach with your top down reminiscent of Miami Vice’s iconic opening scene 30 years ago which featured Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs behind the wheel of a convertible 1972 Ferrari Daytona Spyder 365 GTS/4 replica.
Unique to the Miami auto show, a 7-foot sand sculpture complete with images of a car and Miami’s tropical paradise will be created by the award-winning sand sculpting duo from Fort Myers, Bill and Marianne Knight, known professionally as The Sand Lovers.
DJs will be on hand spinning favorite summer tunes and special live steel drum and guitar performances are scheduled during the 10-day run.
The Topless in Miami exhibit is presented with the cooperation and support of the Southern Automotive Media Association.
The Miami International Auto Show is among the largest nationally and takes place Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 16, 2014. Admission to the show is $15 for adults, $6 children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under.
